Lemon and a French Dish Cloth

“Lemon and a French Dish Cloth”
Oil on Canvas Board, 4” x 6”

Enjoyed painting on Zoom with some friends, but was unhappy with my lemons. To make up for it, I painting this tiny little lemon and it worked. First painting in 2022!

Lace Leaf and Lemons

“Lace Leaf and Lemons”
Oil on Linen, 10” x 8”

I set this up for a Zoom session with my fellow Friday afternoon sketchers. Normally, we are pens and sketchbooks at the local coffee shop but since we are home during the pandemic, I’m painting away at my studio.

Another tiny lemon, this one has been sitting around for awhile so I could fix a few things.
Mission accomplished!

"Mr. Shine"

"Mr. Shine"
Oil on Gessobord, 4" x 4"

I really wanted the beautiful back-lighting on this lemon to come through
in the painting and I think it did.

" Lemon and Dishcloth"

"Lemon and Dishcloth"
Oil on Linen, 5" x 7"

Finally, I'm getting back to painting after the headiness of 19 pieces in a show
"Summer Dreams," and preparing for the Garrison Art Center Paint Out.

It's nice to be in the studio again! I won't mention my first lemon painting was so-so
and I'm not posting it. Well, guess I said it.

"Lemons From Italy"
8" x 10," Oil on Canvas

These lemons are not from Italy. But they look so Italianate!
I began this piece about five years ago, now it's done.
