"On the Road to Senasqua I"

I took a drive on a snowy morning and shot a series of photos.
I love the quiet colors of winter in the northeast!

Sharon, this is stunning. It's my favourite painting of yours. The expanse and gentle curve of the road takes us into the beautiful forest. The palette is subdued and lovely. The hint of purple in the middle ground trees is just right. The thickness of the paint, the treatment of the one closer tree...bravo, bravissimo! You need to do this same painting but HUGE!!

HI Sharon - just found you through Leslie Saeta's 30 in 30. Love this painting. The colors are so wonderfully subtle.

Laurelle, thanks for your poetic and inspiring comment. Tomorrow is version 2. I do want to paint larger!
